Bring awareness and information to hospitals, therapy centres, and schools so that, upon early identification of individuals who cannot speak orally, immersion in Sign Language as a full language is immediately promoted.
Educational support and resources
Actively work to increase and guarantee the necessary support resources for signing pupils in schools, ensuring they have appropriate technical and human means.
Building local signing communities
Foster meeting spaces and support networks at the local level so that all signing individuals have equal opportunities and positive role models in their everyday lives.
Content and information channels
Create dedicated information and content channels tailored for signing children, enabling them to learn, play, develop, and nurture Sign Language naturally.
Active defence against language deprivation (Manifesto)
Promote the Soy Signante Manifesto to raise awareness about the extreme severity of language deprivation, demand an end to medical diagnoses that restrict signing, and rally authorities, institutions, and organisations across the country behind a firm commitment to accessibility.
